Could I wear a blazer with these shorts?

First if all, the shorts are adorable. Because of how dark they are, I personally don't think that black or navy would be the way to go. A loose, white top, and a light, thin, denim blazer would look adorable. I also think that it would go beautifully with a nice pair of cordones or oxford shoes.
