I'm 15 wks pregnant.?

Last evening, as i was seated on the sofa resting after a whole day at work, i received an electrifying pain in my stomach. it was as if something had shocked the baby and he jerked up. the most worrying thing is i felt this pain again long after i'd gone to sleep. what could be the problem?
