Physical Therapy Major Help Please !?

So I am an upcoming freshman in college next fall. I plan on getting a BS in Kinesiology but I'm wondering what if I get my bachelors and apply for the PT graduate program but don't get in and decide to become a physical therapy istant (PTA) instead ? To sum it all up, what would I need to do if I have my BS already but want to enter a PTA program ?
