Do you think some people get WORSE as they get older?

You pay your money and make the choice - as the expression goes. Some people get more bitter and angry as they age others do not. I am 56 and have, like many, had major challenges to face. But, you know what? I have opted to be happy in myself because I know I can cope with whatever life throws at me. How do I know that? Because life has thrown at me some tough stuff over the years and I do believe that life is a circle with downturns and upturns. For every bad time a better time will come, if I hang in there. And you know, the only person anyone really hurts by being bitter and twisted is yourself.
