Finding it incredibly hard to cope. Should the Doctor have said this to me? Problem with son, please help!?

You can not cut your self of just like that, your his mother, but ,survive, be there another day for him in your full strength step back, let the medical team do their thing and use the time to focus, he is testing you to streach your emotions, he will exaust you in the end, tell you may be their for him if he stops trying to harm you, he will understand that he is in controll but his actions may depleat that grasp for him.
