How to clean an infected cartiladge piercing?

I have a big bump behind my cartilage piercing too. I have to eventually take mine out because it kept getting bigger and bigger. But I do also have my tragus pierced and to clean that the only thing that worked for me was tea tree oil. That stuff is magical! If you can try and soak your piercing in warm salt water and mage it so the blood get flowing.
